Divine Nature #2

Tonight the Mia Maids and Beehives got together to teach and learn a little bit about make up application.

Julia taught Maggie to curl her lashes and apply mascara.

Sierra showed Bayley how to blot with a beauty blender.

Emma taught Bayley...

And Sis. Brown taught Emma :)

Thanks to all the girls for their great advice!

Claire shared the following quote

We are reminded that although make up is fun, it is not what makes us beautiful.  It only serves to enhances our beauty!

Here is an opportunity for you to complete your Divine Nature required experience #2.  Read the links for the scriptures and The Proclamation.  Below are a few links for conference talks on womanhood, but feel free to read others that aren't listed.  In the comments, note a the talks you read and the quality you chose.  Write your thoughts on what you think are important qualities for being a wife and mother.  Write the quality you would like to develop.  This will help keep you accountable and sticking to developing that quality.  It can also help you keep track of when your two weeks started!  After two weeks you can add another note about your experience.  Your testimony and thoughts can be a strength and motivation to other girls!

As a young woman you are blessed with divine feminine qualities. Increase your understanding of and appreciation for womanhood. Read Proverbs 31:10–31 and two talks on womanhood from a conference issue of the Church magazines. Review what“The Family: A Proclamation to the World” says about being a wife and a mother. Then ask your mother or another mother you admire what she thinks are important attributes for being a mother. List the attributes in your journal. Then choose one of those attributes and strive to develop it. After two weeks report your success to a parent or leader.
